Each butter dish is individually handmade using UK stoneware clay, then hand glazed and fired to approximately 1230°C.

The decorative floral detailing and layered glaze give this butter dish its individual character. Because it is handmade, you may notice subtle variations in colour, texture, glaze coverage and shape.

These variations are a natural part of the pottery-making process and mean that your butter dish will be unique.

There may also be small areas where the glaze is lighter or does not completely cover the surface. These are characteristics of handmade pottery and do not affect its use.
