2. Product Characteristics

All items sold on this website are individually handmade. By purchasing, you acknowledge that minor variations in dimensions, weight, shape, colour, and glaze finish are natural characteristics of the artisanal pottery process.

These unique variations are not considered defects or faults under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, and the item will be deemed to match the description provided on our product pages.

3. Order Placement and Contract Formation

Displaying products on our WooCommerce shop constitutes an “invitation to treat,” not a legally binding offer to sell. When you place an order, you are making an offer to purchase the goods.A legally binding contract is only formed when we physically dispatch your items and send you a Shipping Confirmation Email.

The initial automated order confirmation email does not constitute acceptance of your order. We reserve the right to decline or cancel any order before dispatch (e.g., due to stock unavailability or pricing errors).

4. Pricing and Payment

All prices are stated in GBP (£) and exclude delivery charges, which are calculated and clearly shown at checkout before you complete your order.

Payment is processed securely via our payment gateways at the time of ordering. We do not store your financial details.

5. Delivery and Risk

We will deliver the goods to the address provided during the checkout process. In accordance with UK law, the risk of damage to or loss of the goods transfers to you the moment the items are physically delivered to your specified address or left in a safe place you designated.

6. Statutory Cancellation Rights (The 14-Day Cooling-Off Period)

Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you have the legal right to cancel your order for any reason:

The Cancellation Window: You can cancel your order from the moment it is placed up to 14 days after the day you receive the goods.

Exceptions: This right to cancel does not apply to bespoke items or custom pieces made to your specific dimensions or requirements (e.g., a personalized name mug).

How to Cancel: You must explicitly notify us of your decision to cancel by Contacting Us within the 14-day window.

Returning the Goods: You must send the items back to us within 14 days of notifying us of your cancellation. You must cover the cost of return postage unless the item is faulty.

Refunds: We will issue a full refund (including standard outgoing delivery charges) within 14 days of receiving the items back, or receiving proof of return. We may deduct an amount from the refund if the value of the goods has been diminished by handling beyond what is necessary to establish their nature.

7. Faulty or Damaged Goods

Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, we have a legal duty to supply goods that are of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose, and as described.

Damaged in Transit: Pottery is fragile. Please inspect your items immediately upon delivery. If an item arrives broken or damaged, please notify us within 48 hours of delivery and provide photographic evidence via email so we can arrange a replacement or refund.

Your Statutory Rights:

Within 30 Days: If your pottery develops a structural fault due to manufacturing defects within 30 days of delivery, you are entitled to a full refund.

After 30 Days: If a fault develops up to 6 months after delivery, you are entitled to a repair or replacement. If we cannot offer this, you may receive a full or partial refund.

8. Limitation of Liability

We do not exclude or limit our liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for supplying faulty goods under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.We are not liable for business losses, as our products are supplied strictly for domestic and private consumer use.

9. Governing Law

These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales (or Scotland/Northern Ireland, depending on your physical business location). Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the United Kingdom.
